Leadership cultivation for Teens of Haitian Descent
2024 Program Activities
What is it about?
Through a series of workshops and other activities you will have opportunities to learn the qualities of being a leader and develop your own style.
How long is it?
It starts on March 23rd - June 30th. Mostly Saturdays from 1:00 - 3:00 pm, but not every week so you can enjoy your holidays and other days off.
What type of activities does the program have?
Workshop sessions, community project, participation in a virtual township council meeting, an online youth leadership conference, and more.
Who can be a participant?
Teens ages 13-19 who identify as Haitian or has at least one Haitian parent.
Do I need to be a citizen?
No, but you must live in Essex County, NJ.

Do I have to pay?
No, this program is free for all of the participants.

What do I get for participating?
After completing the program you will get a certificate and a $20 gift card.
But the most valuable things that you will get are new leadership skills and memorable experiences.
